One person that hopefully all Americans can agree is better off dead is former Taliban leader and financier Osama bin Laden. As was revealed, bin Laden was taken out when Navy SEAL Team Six raided the terrorist’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
Following the successful raid, American forces made sure to sweep the compound clean and take all pertinent evidence that might shed light on how bin Laden was able to evade detection for so long.
What bin Laden had with him was kept a secret until the CIA finally put out over 470,000 documents related to the content’s of the 9/11 mastermind’s secret bunker. Some of bin Laden’s possessions are certainly not what people would have in mind for the world’s most wanted terrorist.
On Osama’s computer, for example, he had plenty of Hollywood movies, including Heroes of Tomorrow, Resident Evil and even children’s movies like Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Chicken Little, Cars and Antz. Bin Laden also had a collection of anime and video games.
The evidently vain bin Laden also had videos about himself, such as In the Footsteps of bin Laden — CNN, Biography — Osama bin Laden, and Where in the World is Osama bin Laden. Commented CIA director Mike Pompeo, “Today’s release of recovered Al-Qaeda letters, videos, audio files and other materials provides the opportunity for the American people to gain further insights into the plans and workings of this terrorist organization.” What do you think bin Laden’s collection says about him?
